Home sweet home.

Since the 18th of December, I have resided in chilly Korea. For those of you who do not know, my brother & parents live here, so it’s been a while since I’ve seen them! I usually am not ecstatic to see them, but this time around, my trip has been great.

These are a few things I have done since I’ve been here:
-Visited Christina Cho in Busan (shopped, watched 2 movies, bought gifts, ate street food)
-Went to the dentist 6+ times for wisdom teeth extraction & crown repairs
-Ate lunch & caught up with Susan Lee at COEX mall
-Visited gramps on NYE & celebrated with him
-Had conversations with the mother about fears, pain, spiritual warfare, and revelations of God’s grace and love
-Had a snowball fight with mum & pa
-Bought RED shoes! :D
-Worked out with ma & bro
-Wrote (or attempted to write) new songs!
-Finished a korean drama about 3 pianists :P

Overall, it has been fun. But I am ready to return and claim God’s favor in the music industry. I am ready to start working for the glory of the Lord in this broken industry. Jesus, give me grace and favor in finding a job! All inadequacies and insecurities be gone in Jesus name! Coming back on the 10th! Woohoo!

Boarding now! :) Goodbye frandz

Hello all-

Lately, I have been experimenting with graphics & web design. It definitely has not been easy.. but it has been a lot of fun. It all started when my mom (president of the company I’ve been working part-time for) asked me to design a logo for the company to put on letterheads, business cards, etc.

SO, I bought a tablet (thinking it would be a great excuse to finally get one), and I have been working on…. my website. [insert snicker here]

I want to give a sneak peek at what I’ve been working on! Enjoy, & tips/references are welcome!

P.S. This is Day 2 of learning. Go easy on me!

Grey & New.

As of late, I have been applying to many many jobs through Craigslist, Berklee job forums, NBC, Monster, etc., and I have not heard back from a single one of them. It’s been hard to see God’s presence in the midst of all this because I was so confident in getting a job. Not that I’m going to give up, but I need to rely on the Lord’s favor and timing in all this.

To fill up my time though, I have turned to healthier alternatives! I am an official member of 24 hour fitness, and I am on my 2nd consecutive day of working out. It feels SO good to be back on track, but this just means I need to eat right because I don’t have any energy at the end of the day w/o vitamins/protein. It shall be fun doing this whilst I wait for job interviews.

I also got a new car! I’m sure you’ve heard already through Instagram or Facebook, but I bought a grey Honda Civic 2012 EX exactly a week ago, and it has been great. It has almost 200 miles already (heh heh. I was too excited to drive everyone everywhere). I will let you come in my car if you are a clean person. hehe.

I have no plans to go back to San Diego anytime soon, but maybe the right opportunity will present itself, and I will make a short appearance. paha. I’m sure SD misses me. :D

School has been good—getting lazier, but trying to make the most of it. I’m glad I’m going to be a part time student starting late September. Whew!

Our new apt mate Pauline has finally arrived, and we are spending tons of time together. I am glad I have some of my closest friends with me in this new journey. Don’t know what I would do without them!

Last note: I really really miss carpet. Hardwood floors do not compare to carpet.

Raw talent. Right here. Bluey Robinson. SO GOOD.

Is the Lord Jesus Christ being abundantly satisfied by your life, or are you exhibiting a walk of spiritual pride before Him? Never let your common sense become so prominent and forceful that it pushes the Son of God to one side. Common sense is a gift that God gave to our human nature— but common sense is not the gift of His Son. Supernatural sense is the gift of His Son, and we should never put our common sense on the throne. The Son always recognizes and identifies with the Father, but common sense has never yet done so and never will. Our ordinary abilities will never worship God unless they are transformed by the indwelling Son of God. We must make sure that our human flesh is kept in perfect submission to Him, allowing Him to work through it moment by moment. Are we living at such a level of human dependence upon Jesus Christ that His life is being exhibited moment by moment in us?
